I’m a UK-based artist creating expressive portraits in oil sticks and mixed media.

I’m drawn to people and to capturing the emotion, mood and atmosphere around them. My work is less about creating a perfect likeness and more about capturing a feeling — through expression, colour, texture and the setting around the subject.

For me, it’s about capturing something of the person or moment that made me want to paint it in the first place.
